Ingredients


Saute & grind:

  • Coriander seeds - 2 tbsp

  • Red chillies - 6 to 8 nos

  • Cinammon - 2 inch

  • Cloves - 6 nos

  • Cardamom - 4 nos

  • Fennel Seeds - 1.5 tsp

  • Stone flower (kalpasi) - few

  • Cashews - 10 nos

  • Tomatoes - 2 med


For Tempering:

  • Green Onion - 1

  • Onion - 1/2 of big

  • Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp

  • Mint - Handful

  • Coriander - Handful

  • Coconut - 1/3 cup

  • Poppy seeds - 1 tbsp.

Directions

  1. Heat 1 tsp oil and saute the grinding ingredients on low flame. Let it cool and grind to find paste along with raw tomatoes.

  2. On low flame heat oil. Add green chillies and minced onions. Let it cook well.

  3. Add ginger garlic, mint, and corriander leaves. Let it mix and cook for one min.

  4. Add the ground paste. Cook on med flame until it shrinks.

  5. Add some water to needed consistency along with required salt.

  6. Grind coconut and poppy seeds to fine paste.

  7. Add this to the boiling gravy. Let it cook for another 5 mins.
