Falafels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Soaked chickpeas (overnight)

  • 1/2 - Red onion (small-cubed)

  • 3 nos - Garlic

  • 1/3 cup - Parsley (chopped)

  • 1.5 tbsp - Lemon juice

  • 1 tsp - Cumin powder

  • 1 tsp - Paprika powder

  • 1/3 cup - Bread crumbs

  • 2 tbsp - Sesame seeds

  • Salt

Directions

  1. Add soaked and drained chickpeas along with all other ingredients excluding bread crumbs and sesame seeds to the food processor and blend to coarse paste (close to smooth)

  2. Add bread crumbs, sesame seeds and mix well.

  3. Seal it air tight and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.

  4. Make small lemon size balls.

  5. Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees.

  6. Spray the tray with some oil and place the balls. Spray oil on top and cook for 15 mins. Turning in between.
