Parangikkai Paal Kootu (பரங்கிக்காய் பால் கூட்டு)

Ingredients:
Yellow Pumpkin - 250 gm
Green chillies - 2 nos
Turmeric powder - 1/8 tsp
Hing - 1/4 tsp
Ghee - 3 tsp
Rice flour - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 cup
Jaggery - 3 tsp
Coconut oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seed - 1/4 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - a sprig
Directions:
Heat a kadai and add ghee. Once its hot add mustard seeds, urad dhal, hing, and let it splutter.
Add green chillies and curry leaves. Saute for 30 secs.
Add chopped yellow pumpkin, jaggery, salt, 1/2 cup milk, and little water until the veggies are immersed.
Cover and cook for 10 mins on low flame.
Add rest of the milk mixed with rice flour for the gravy to thicken.
Serve hot.
