Rava Dosai

Ingredients:

  • Sooji / Ravai - 1/2 cup

  • Rice flour - 1/2 cups

  • Flour - 1/4 cup

  • Yogurt - 1 tbsp

  • Water - 4 cup

  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp

  • Crushed black pepper - 1 tsp

  • Ginger - 1/2 tsp (finely chopped)

  • Green chillies - 1 (finely chopped)

  • Onion - 1/3 cup (finely chopped)

  • Curry leaves

  • Coriander leaves

  • Salt

Directions:

  1. Mix ravai, rice flour, flour, yogurt, and 2 cups of water first without lumps. Add the remaining 2 cups and let it rest for 30 mins.

  2. Add rest of the ingredients. Heat the tawa well.

  3. Pour the batter to create a lacey dosai. Let it cook for 30 to 40 secs. Then add oil.

  4. Let it brown and turn crispy.
