Ingredients
Basmati Rice - 1 cup
Frozen Sweet Corn - ½ cup
Green Chillies - 1
Mint leaves - few (about 10 to 15)
Coriander leaves - 3 tbsp
Bay Leaf - 1
GRINDING INGREDIENTS
Garlic - 3 cloves
Ginger - 1/4″
Pepper Corns - 10 to 15 nos
Cloves - 2
Cinnamon - 1/2″
Almonds - 5
Directions
Soak rice for 20 mins
Grind all the grinding ingredients with 2 tbsp of water to smooth paste
Heat ghee in a pan and add bay leafs to it. Saute for a min
Add slit green chilli and saute for 2 mins.
Add the ground paste and saute for another 2 mins on med flame till the raw smell goes
Add thawed corn with salt. Saute for couple of mins
Add 1.5 cups of water and bring it to boil
Add soaked rice, mint and coriander leaves
Cover and cook till rice is nicely done
Serve hot with raitha
