Corn Pulav

Ingredients

  • Basmati Rice - 1 cup

  • Frozen Sweet Corn - ½ cup

  • Green Chillies - 1

  • Mint leaves - few (about 10 to 15)

  • Coriander leaves - 3 tbsp

  • Bay Leaf - 1

GRINDING INGREDIENTS

  • Garlic - 3 cloves

  • Ginger - 1/4″

  • Pepper Corns - 10 to 15 nos

  • Cloves - 2

  • Cinnamon - 1/2″

  • Almonds - 5

Directions

  1. Soak rice for 20 mins

  2. Grind all the grinding ingredients with 2 tbsp of water to smooth paste

  3. Heat ghee in a pan and add bay leafs to it. Saute for a min

  4. Add slit green chilli and saute for 2 mins.

  5. Add the ground paste and saute for another 2 mins on med flame till the raw smell goes

  6. Add thawed corn with salt. Saute for couple of mins

  7. Add 1.5 cups of water and bring it to boil

  8. Add soaked rice, mint and coriander leaves

  9. Cover and cook till rice is nicely done

  10. Serve hot with raitha
